The Evolving Homemaker

One improbable housewife's odyssey into the realm of mothering, cooking, crafting, gardening, and more…

Words For The Weeks End 9.10

It’s the end of the week, and every Friday I leave you  with words of wisdom, anecdotes, interesting and inspiring, even some thought provoking things I might have read or come across, to ponder.  If only to shine a light on simple, natural living, mothering, mamavism, crafting, gardening, sisterhood, children and any other area which might fall into the world of an evolving homemaker.  Which we all are doing.  All of the time.  Evolving, that is…

“Don’t say you don’t have enough time.  You have exactly

the same number of hours per day that were given to

Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Theresa

Leonardo daVinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.”

~H. Jackson Brown Jr.

hell yeah! Love that, tell it to myself all the time! Although they didn’t have FB then. Can you imagine da Vinci on FB. He would be on line all the time with his crazy ideas.

Hmmm. I should get off FB.

  4. Laurienna Says:

Ah, but did they have 3 children including a toddler?? :)

More seriously I love the quote. And it is true, really.

LOL! I actually checked them out online later yesterday wondering the SAME thing! Did these people actually HAVE children??

    What I discovered?

Most of them did not, but Jefferson and Einstein did.

    Truth there?

They probably did not take care of their kids at all, or not like a Mom.

So you are RIGHT! Let’s cut ourselves some slack!
